Anni Laoshi

The most common way of reading Chinese numbers is by the ordinal way of counting like 一 二 三 四 五 六 七 八 九 十.

TRIVIA: Only the number 2 has two different word depending oh how you will use the number 2. The most common word is 二 (èr) which is commonly used as ordinal number like in rote counting like 1-2-3-4 and so forth, it is also used in ranking (第一,第二,第三,etc.), days of the week (星期一,星期二,etc.) , months (一月,二月,三月,etc.) and dates (一日,二日,三日,etc.) The other one is the word 两 (liǎng) which is specifically used for time (一点,两点,三点,etc.) and with measure words (两个,两辆,两瓶,两张,etc.)
